Hope is the thing with feathers

A few years ago I started drawing an endangered alphabet - with a different bird for every letter. Birds from all over the world, all impacted by climate change and habitat loss.
It started when I came across a photo of a beautiful Strawberry Finch. I thought it was amazing how many birds I’d never heard of before, and also scary that many of them might end up disappearing before I ever got the chance to see them.
So I decided to draw the alphabet and then use the drawings to raise funds for conservation. I named the project after the poem by Emily Dickinson.
I’m still working out the best way of selling prints but in the meantime if you’d like a bespoke print or t-shirt you can get in touch (roseeclarkson@gmail.com) and you can also donate directly to Greenpeace.
Greenpeace relies on individual people like you and me to fund their work. To protect their independence, they don’t take any money from governments or corporations.
At such a critical time for our planet, Greenpeace needs our support more than ever.
If you've been inspired by this project, donate today to help Greenpeace UK continue to fight the climate and nature emergencies. Together with your support, we can keep fossil fuels in the ground, our forests standing, and our oceans healthy.
Thank you!

Thank you for letting me borrow your birds!
