Our favourite places in nature are under threat from climate change, habitat loss and pollution. We need to act now to save them. That's why I've decided to move 31 Miles for Nature this October and raise £150 for Greenpeace.

With a fifty year history of defending nature, Greenpeace's mission is to create a greener, healthier, and more peaceful planet. Any donation you make could help power their campaigns to keep our oceans healthy, our forests standing, and fossil fuels in the ground.

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.

Our world is a strange place. While we have ever-increasing ability to collect data and create sophisticated scientific understanding of the harm we are doing to our world, we have an ever-decreasing ability as citizens to influence how the world is run. Surely many of you are worried about current anti-scientific, anti-humanitarian trends in the world and how international consensus for saving our planet is abandoned. We could sit in our armchairs and simmer in anger, or we can do something about it. I decided to run to release my anger and channel it to support this amazing group who has the means to genuinely fight for the right causes. Greenpeace has been doing amazing work for decades to lift the lid on hypocrisy and global destructive practices.

Over the next month I will attempt the impossible and run 31 miles for Greenpace, please throw in a few bob if you want to contribute,
