Green and Peace is what the planet needs

Chip in to help power Greenpeace campaigns

Greenpeace relies on individual people like you and me to fund their work. To protect their independence, they don’t take any money from governments or corporations.

At such a critical time for our planet, Greenpeace needs our support more than ever.

If you've been inspired by this event, donate today to help Greenpeace UK continue to fight the climate and nature emergencies. Together with your support, we can keep fossil fuels in the ground, our forests standing, and our oceans healthy.

Thank you!

My Updates

Thanks everyone !

Friday 14th Nov
Many thanks for helping raise some money for the courageous and so urgent work of Greenpeace !!

Dundee on October 24th

Sunday 2nd Nov
Arrived at Dundee 05:35 and walked all over this fascinating city with a wonderful statue of Desperate Dan! So interesting to explore everywhere. At one point we stopped at an excellent cafe for a Turkish breakfast. Altogether we walked 3 miles or more. Then gorgeous bus ride in the late afternoon to Aviemore. Watched the glowing sky, saw three rainbows.

That was the wrong date! It was in October. And another…

Sunday 2nd Nov
All along by Prittlewell Brook, with the autumn trees bright in the sun. A beautiful walk. 4miles.

Seaside walk

Sunday 2nd Nov
Set off from home to the sea. Walked along to Thorpe Bay, through Southchurch park and up Lifstan way to Holy Trinity church, then all the way back home. 7 miles.

Second walk

Saturday 4th Oct
From Southend to Benfleet.
Rain and wind today so I walked all along by the estuary, with the waves crashing.
At Old Leigh I stopped for granary toast with honey, and coffee. Then on past the cockle sheds, to the long sea wall, windswept and gorgeous, to Benfleet station. I caught the bus back home! 8 miles.

The first walk!

Saturday 4th Oct
In keeping with Greenpeace values, I’m doing my best to walk with a low a carbon footprint as possible. So I’m doing walks that start and end at my front door.
On 2nd October I set off along the A13, walked down Victoria Avenue, enjoying Churchill Gardens ( a garden made in a disused quarry) and Priory Park. Then I followed the Prittle Greenway (a path by a brook, used by cyclists and walkers) before walking up the hill and home. 4.31 miles.
