31 Miles for Nature

I’m moving 31 Miles for Nature to raise £150 for Greenpeace - can you sponsor me?

Our favourite places in nature are under threat from climate change, habitat loss and pollution. We need to act now to save them. That's why I've decided to move 31 Miles for Nature this October and raise £150 for Greenpeace.

With a fifty year history of defending nature, Greenpeace's mission is to create a greener, healthier, and more peaceful planet. Any donation you make could help power their campaigns to keep our oceans healthy, our forests standing, and fossil fuels in the ground.

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.

Please sponsor me today and help me reach my £150 goal. Thank you!

39m is my best time since restarting swimming again

The big 40!

Sunday 26th Oct
Heading for 40m monthly. With 4*times 7m, 3m runs plus 4m swimming.

Done it!

Friday 24th Oct
32m by the 24th. Now in schedule of swim, jog, long jog weekly. Need to keep it up so 40m by end of month then continue....

Nature is for life..

Target approaching, extrnd

Wednesday 22nd Oct
After a mid month break I am on the final stretch with 2m to go to reach 31m. If I keep up 10m per week I should be able to get to 40+m in total.

This challenge is really about wellbeing generally. Keeping fit, enjoying nature and reconnecting gives us healthier lives.

7m jog

Sunday 12th Oct
Nice morning running along the Thames path. Seven miles is pushing my distance by Ann extra half hour

Half way!

Friday 10th Oct
Just did my first weekday run in a long long time. Only 3.5m but takes me past halfway.
So far doing something every other day is working well. Swimming my mile for the first time in a few years and getting it in the fresh air is making a difference, though I may sleep for week when I finish

Getting fit and helping nature

Monday 22nd Sep
Hi all, I need to lower my blood pressure by getting fit. Will you help by sponsoring me to complete at least 31miles in October please.
If I can force myself to up my monthly exercise to 31miles+ then what better way to commit than by fundraising for nature.
31 miles for nature is about community fundraising to support wildlife reserves, national parks and marine habitat so a good cause.

Thank you to my Sponsors
