I’m cycling 31 Miles for Nature to raise money for Greenpeace - please can you sponsor me?

Hi everyone

Our favourite places in nature are under threat from climate change, habitat loss and pollution. There's lots of good happening but we also have governments back tracking, corporates shirking responsibility and bizarrely climate change denial on the rise - it is very real, time is running out and we need to act now to save the natural world we love and depend on!

This October I will be taking up the challenge to do 31 miles of exercise for nature, which this year will be a hilly bike ride from Shoreham to Eastbourne, across part of the beautiful South Downs Way.  I'm hoping to raise at least £150 so every donation counts and will go straight towards helping protect our planet.  I don't like cycling up hills but I do like nature!

With a fifty year history of defending nature, Greenpeace's mission is to create a greener, healthier, and more peaceful planet. Any donation you make could help power their campaigns to keep our oceans healthy, our forests standing, and fossil fuels in the ground.

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters like us to fund all their campaigns, investigations and scientific research. I've been a volunteer for over 10 years and this stuff works! For example we've just seen the creation of a Global Oceans Treaty pass into international law, which we've been campaigning hard for.
