31 Miles for Nature

I’m moving 31 Miles for Nature to raise £150 for Greenpeace - can you sponsor me?

Our favourite places in nature are under threat from climate change, habitat loss and pollution. We need to act now to save them. That's why I've decided to move 31 Miles for Nature this October and raise £150 for Greenpeace.

With a fifty year history of defending nature, Greenpeace's mission is to create a greener, healthier, and more peaceful planet. Any donation you make could help power their campaigns to keep our oceans healthy, our forests standing, and fossil fuels in the ground.

Greenpeace never accepts money from companies or governments, so they depend on supporters, like us, to fund all of their campaigns.

Please sponsor me today and help me reach my £150 goal. Thank you!

My Updates

Biked it.

Tuesday 7th Oct
Rode my bike 3 miles today to see my favourite local lake. A bit of peace and tranquillity.

Back on the bike

Tuesday 7th Oct
Fixed the bike up, first ride after 14 years so only did a mile today to my local park but will venture further to get to my favourite areas.

Missed it.

Sunday 5th Oct
Unfortunately missed out on my walk on Friday due to bad weather and falling off my repaired bike.
Did my walk today, Saturday, and the bike is now ready to go to get a bit further, just got to get my balance back. Lol.
Today on my walk I saw crows, pigeons and a wagtail. Hope to see more on different walks and nearby locations.

Another couple of miles

Thursday 2nd Oct
Just did another couple of miles today walking for my 31 miles. Just waiting for my new bike wheel so that I can go a bit further afield cycling and walking.

First mile for October

Wednesday 1st Oct
I'm walking to my local park where many human activities take place but also the nature there is good as well. Blackberries, apples, rowan berries all around when in season. Birds singing all day, foxes in the evening. Nice.
