On 17th May 2026, I’ll be running the Hackney Half Marathon.
The last time I ran anything close to this distance was the London Marathon… back in 2006. Sadly, I didn’t keep up the running after that, so taking this on is definitely a challenge. However, supporting Greenpeace has given me the motivation to get back into it and start training again.
I’m running because our planet is facing a climate and nature crisis. Forests are being destroyed, oceans are filling with plastic, and fossil fuels continue to drive climate change. Greenpeace works tirelessly to protect our environment, pushing for stronger climate action, defending wildlife and ecosystems, and holding corporations and governments to account.
